Life and faith issues can vary from person to person and region to region. These are my takes on these issues from a rural perspective as God has blessed me to live and serve in rural areas for much of my life.

Thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts and share your own!

A New Year and New Season

As everyone reaches a new year, I like many people am anxious and intrigued by what God has in store for me in the future.  See, I like many this year find myself unemployed.  This is not an uncommon occurrence in this day and age no matter what field one works in but for me it is the first time since surrendering to the vocational ministry that I have found myself without a "church job".  I left a great church that was experiencing slow but healthy growth because I could not find supplemental work as it only paid a part time salary among other reasons.  I wholeheartedly know that this was the will of God for me and my wife but it has not been an easy decision or transition by any stretch of the imagination.  This blog will ultimately help me chronicle this time of my life and deal with other pertinent issues that I encounter so buckle up as you and I both ride down what can only be described as God's rural route to righteousness for my life and maybe you can learn from my mistakes so you wont have to make them yourself.  May God's grace abound in you and through you!!!
